Pontus - The noun ποντος (pontos) is a poetic word for sea or ocean (something alike "big blue" or "the great, wide open" ).

"The name Pilatus is the same as a relatively rare adjective meaning "armed with javelins" or "spears in hand" or something like that. This adjective derives from the word pila, which is the plural of pilum, which denoted the heavy javelin used by the Roman infantry.

In other words Pilate represents those of the Spear-Shakers. A Master initiating an adept (Jesus) into the Egyptian mysteries.

I am not suggesting Pons Brooks is Elijah, but I am suggesting that Elijah comes to burn the world (see Sirach 48 below). My best guess is he comes in 3 years after the final eclipse of the double helix (Lucifer / Shahar). Perhaps Elijah was Venus (perhaps also Venus ~ 3500 years ago - read Velikovsky). Pons-Brooks should have us pondering our future.
