Draco is one of the largest constellations in the heavens. We currently refer to this constellation as “Draco the Dragon”. However, in Ancient Egypt this constellation was called “The Cobra” or “The Serpent”

So, why is this constellation referred to as the Dragon in modern times? And, to be even more precise, what is a dragon, and from where do we get the word “dragon?

To properly answer these questions, it is necessary to look into the etymology of the word “dragon”.

The word “dragon” comes from the Latin word draconem and the Greek word drakontos. Both of these words sound like “dragon” and both of these words contain the sound draco within them. Therefore, by simple word association, we get Draco the Dragon as the modern name for this constellation.

However, when properly interpreted, the words draconem and drakontos translate as “Serpent”, or “huge Serpent”.

The square touches Draco, indicating it is affecting a change in reality or representing the end and beginning of a new cycle. The two beings representing harmony symbolized by the plumb.

The constellation Draco is in the forefront of earth changes, but also our evolutionary changes to come in a new cycle. The +X on the earth wheel below (x) symbolizes the mark of illumination, and +X marks the spot - the time of our crucifiXion and resurrection. All according to Dragon time!

The 47th problem of Euclid features prominently in many Past Master’s jewels. Selecting this symbol out of the thousands used in Freemasonry to represent one of its highest honors must mean that it is a very significant and central symbol of the Craft. Yet, sadly many Freemasons do not know why it is so centrally featured in the Past Master’s jewel. What does the 47th problem of Euclid symbolize and mean? Of the 465 problems published by Euclid, why is the 47th so important?

The Pythagoras theorym is plumb center beneath what I would assume to be the Draco constellation.

The Cosmic Cone is pictured in the above image of the Masonic Compass. The cone wil change as a result of the world turning upside down and the torus sun turning itself inside out!

I and my Father are One

Asar, which is 3X54,162, is Ash Ra, the Solar Fire, Ishah (a name still preserved in the Arabic Ayesha), "The Female," meaning terrestrial "Nature, 4X54 or 216, which is the sum of the cubes of 3, 4 and 5, (27, 64, 125) and Chr the Male principle or fructifying spirit of Nature, is 2X54, or 108 . All of these numbers are multiples of 9 or 3X3, and this last number, especially, is the one defined by Hindu Astrology as the full term of human life, and thus represents humanity in the abstract . Egyptian philosophy regarded the great Cosmic process of generation and regeneration as resultant upon the infinitely reiterated passages of the Male principle through the Female principle, Father and Son being, spiritually, a Unit ("I and my Father are One" ) .

The number 270 (9X30) represents the number, in days, of human gestation and is the sum of 162 (Father) and 108 (Son) . Thus, merely supplying the natural philosophical postulate that the Father passing his vital principle through the Mother, continues to live in the Son, we secure a Pythagorean triangle of 162-216-270.

If the 47th problem be exhibited, as it frequently is, divided into alternating black and white squares. symbolic, among other things, of the "Dual principle," the division will be 26 (10+5+6 +5 ; JHVH) of one color and 24 (8±8±8) of the other, while the measure round-about the whole figure will be 36 spaces, giving the Pythagorean sacred number of the Sun, upon which the Sage of Samos swore his pupils to secrecy.

The 9+16+25=50 squares thus gave rise to the old Greek cabalistic name of the Sun, "Damnamenos of the fifty faces." The Hebrews celebrated each fiftieth year as a Jubilee, calling it the "Power of the Number Twelve" (3+4+5).

The answer appears to be included by Frank Higgins, but I believe a simple synonymous answer lies in Draco's Cosmic Cone of 47 degrees and Füxi and Nuwa's compass and square. My solution to the 47th Problem of Euclid also requires the Compass and Square. The Past Master’s Jewel confirms this answer if we have eyes to see. For confirmation, look to Fuxi and Nuwa. Anyone who can't see it is plumb loco!

We can see then that to obtain this ascent to enlightenment, one must first balance or still the mind through meditation and enter the ‘midpoint’ of the trance state. And this midpoint is achieved through the successful synchronization of opposites, both those related to our own duality and to the duality of all things we experience, for everything is vibrating and oscillating, swinging like a pendulum between one extreme and the other.
