AMENI, THE SON OF MAN :— A symbol of the Higher Self born In the Soul.

He shall be the son of a Woman of Nubia, and will be born in (the south).... Ho shall assume the crown of Upper Egypt, and lift up the red crown of the North. Ho shall unite the double crown. The people of the age of the Son of man shall rejoice and establish his name for all eternity. "The words ' son of man' are a literal translation of the original si-n-sa"— SAYCE. Gifford Lectures, p. 248.

The Christ shall appear from within, and shall declare the Truth and the Right. He shall be born of ‘Wisdom on the higher mental plane. He shall be ruler of the upper planes, and raise up through love the lower self. He shall triumphantly unite the higher and lower natures in the soul. The qualities (virtues) of the evolutionary period of the Divine Son-of-mind shall be transmuted, and his differentiation or upward rise of consciousness, shall be established for over. The Soul shall then be exalted above all relation to the lower planes, and illusion and error shall no longer be expressed within it.

The half-mythical country in the South was known to the Egyptians as the land of the Gods.' p. 131.

"Nubia," therefore, is a symbol of the Buddhic, or Wisdom plane; Upper Egypt, of the higher mind plane ; Lower Egypt of the lower mind plane. The " great sea " is the astral plane. In evolution the " Son " is necessarily greater than the " father " ; so Son-of-mind is greater than mind.

The " wicked " are the bad qualities which cannot be expressed (mouths) in the higher nature.

"1 saw in tho night, visions, and, behold, one like unto a son of man came with the clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days and they brought him near before him. And those was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all people, nations and languages should serve him his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed."— vii 13 14

SON OF MAN - A symbol of the soul in the stage of being made perfect, wherein the lower nature is being purified finally by the higher. It represents a soul not yet completely evolved and perfected, for the perfect soul Is a Son of God. "Son of man" means son of mind, i.e. the manifesting spiritual ego as an evolved product, or "Child." of the "natural man" or mind, while the ego remains attached to the mind, and its manifestation is limited by the lower conditions.

When the natural man is purified and transmuted, then the spiritual ego is fully manifest and again becomes " Son of God " as it was before its descent into matter.

What is man, that thou art mindful of him ? and the son of man, that thou visited him ? For thou hest made him but little lower than God, and crownest him with glory and honour. Thou madest him to have dominion over the works of thy hands: thou hest put all things under his feet."—Ps. viii. 4-6.

" Let thy hand be upon the man of thy right hand, upon the son of man whom thou madest strong for thyself."--Ps. lxxx. 17. Those texts refer to the Son of man of the cycle of involulion, the Self born on the mental plane, and become the Archetypal Man having dominion over all things of the soul life.

Luk_1:35  And the angel answered and said unto her, The Holy Ghost shall come upon thee, and the power of the Highest shall overshadow thee: therefore also that holy thing which shall be born of thee shall be called the Son of God.

Gospel of Thomas (22) Jesus saw infants being suckled. He said to his disciples, "These infants being suckled are like those who enter the kingdom."
They said to him, "Shall we then, as children, enter the kingdom?"
Jesus said to them, "When you make the two one, and when you make the inside like the outside and the outside like the inside, and the above like the below, and when you make the male and the female one and the same, so that the male not be male nor the female; and when you fashion eyes in the place of an eye, and a hand in place of a hand, and a foot in place of a foot, and a likeness in place of a likeness; then will you enter the kingdom."

The star that burns overhead is "the star of initiation" says HPB in the Voice of Silence.

The "Son of Man" is no child of the bond-woman — flesh, but verily of the free-woman — (Holy) Spirit (4), the child of man's own deeds, and the fruit of his own spiritual labor.

The "Christ principle," the awakened and glorified Spirit of Truth, being universal and eternal, the true Christos cannot be monopolized by any one person, even though that person has chosen to arrogate to himself the title of the "Vicar of Christ," or of the "Head" of that or another State-religion. The spirits of "Chrest" and "Christ" cannot be confined to any creed or sect, only because that sect chooses to exalt itself above the heads of all other religions or sects. The name has been used in a manner so intolerant and dogmatic, especially in our day, that Christianity is now the religion of arrogance par excellence, a stepping-stone for ambition, a sinecure for wealth, sham and power; a convenient screen for hypocrisy.

All of us have to get rid of our own Ego, the illusory apparent self, to recognise our true self in a transcendental divine life. Son of God

Son of God aka Sun of God or Sun of Righteousness

On the other hand, the Bible tells us that Mary, mother of Jesus, was of the stem of Jesse. Now, the Hebrew word Jes means fire, the Sun Divinity. To be of the stem of Jesse is thus to be of the race of the sun, of fire. Since matter derives from the solar fire, as we have just seen, the very name of Jesus appears to us in its original and celestial splendour : fire, sun, God. - Fulcanelli

Initiation or Sons of God

Initiation^ or spiritual rebirth^ results from the quickening in man of that Divine Spark which evolves, through upward direction of the Solar Force,* into the deathless Solar Body. The degrees of Initiation are but the degrees of the evolution of the God in man, Illumination being that degree in which the Divine Self masters and enkindles its manifestation, the personality, which is henceforward subservient to its evolution.

At the moment of Illumination man becomes, in truth, a "Son of God," having claimed and made his own his divine and natural birthright. Initiation and Illumination are the destiny of the race. "For all creation, gazing eagerly as if with outstretched neck, is waiting and longing to see the manifestation of the Sons of God. For those whom He has known beforehand He has also predestined to bear the likeness of His Son, that He might be the Eldest in a vast family of brothers."

The moment of initiation (Son of Man) is not the moment of illumination (Son of God). The only way to transform your body into a Son of God or "Light Body" or Merkaba is to reach the inner sun. Image 9 (3 & 4)

The Merkaba (meaning light-spirit-body) is the energy sphere in which everything exists. It is the vehicle that carries you to the dimensions of unity and love that exist beyond the mind.

Need a New Bottle?

Luk_5:37  And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish.
Luk_5:38  But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved.
Luk_5:39  No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

What does God do? The Mind of God is busy creating His universe. Every thought has a form, so you might expect mind stuff to eventually translate into some kind of form be it ethereal, physical, whatever. If we can humour me for a bit and equate God with the greater fractal or universe and he is building mind stuff, what might the son of God be doing? Since everything in the universe is contained within the mind of God (or God Itself) a son of God might be expected to be doing something within his mind. We might call that individual an Arhat and that individual appears to have a signature which looks like a universe, at least a solar system. After achieving, (what some equate with the son of God as) cosmic consciousness, we might see a similar image within our minds as perhaps image 3 demonstrates. More or less sunny but this rendition has some merit. Since we are all a latent universe are we to build this universe outside ourselves or within? I suggest it is within. In achieving cosmic consciousness I suspect some are in the beginning stages of building their latent universe within their minds and thus the name cosmic consciousness fits. This definition of God does not relate to the "field" but instead just the universe or greater fractal of which we are made in the image. We might also remember the occult maxim, as within so without and as we progress in evolution we may see a greater relevance.
In conclusion, it might appear to be a good idea to spend sometime within contemplating, concentrating on this or another point!
